“HELLO, LOVER” : From Nordstrom Anniversay Sale
If you just got here, the Style It Less Fashionista, that’s me :), is busy digging through the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I’ve tackled the Tops, and the Dresses. Each picks are less than $100.
If you’re wondering what the “hello, lover” title means, it’s ode to the notorious shoeholic character that Sarah Jessica Parker made famous in that little HBO show called, Sex and The City. If Audrey Hepburn trademarked the Little Black Dress, SJP, in my opinion coined the best way to call a very orgasmic pair of shoes. Of course they were Monolos but hey, shoes are shoes, right? Whatever gets you off.. LOL. Ok, hope you stick around to witness this madness. I promise to show you less than $100 pairs of shoes that will get you saying “Hello, Lover” throughout the day. I apologize in advance if I elicit shrieks here and there. I’m sure you’ll understand ;) .
Enzo Angiolini ‘Maylie’ Satin Pump. Oh.My.Gawd. Black satin open-toed pumps for $58.90. Hello Lover, indeed! After the sale it would be $88.95. This comes in size 6m to 10m.
If you’re going to get a pair of croc pumps this year, might as well pick a red color. It adds a bold statement in any outfit. Jeans or Solid color dress. This
Enzo Angiolini ‘Maylie’ Croc Embossed Pump is also on sale for $58.90. It comes in sizes 4m to 11m and in black, brown or grey colors.
I’m not into flats but for you guys, I’ll pick this Steve Madden ‘Cannon’ Suede Flat. On sale for $46.90. After the sale it would be $69.95. This comes in size 5m to 12m and also in black color. I like the buckle detail.
I don’t know about you but I can never say no to a thin-strapped sandal with slender heels. This pair is the ‘Camisole’ Sandal from Exchange. The dainty bow is beautiful. On sale for $49.90. After the sale it will be $79.95. This comes in sizes 5m to 10m.
Surprise? Oh c’mon, it’s Chuck Taylor slip-on sneakers, on sale for $29.90. Who can say no to that? This actually comes in Men’s sizes but it’s a unisex pair of shoes so you could still get yours. Just make sure you buy 2 sizes smaller than the Man’s size. For example, I’m size 8, so I should get the size 6. The are other colors available, like chocolate, olive, black and pink. I’ll take the pink since I don’t think a Man would be jumping up and down to get that color..LOL.
Alright, this concludes our shoes journey. I was hoping to find a few pairs knee-high boots with squared toe, and at least 3 inches high. I saw a couple of squared-toe boots but they are too low. I don’t wear anything less than 3, unless it’s flip flops(even then I prefer platform ones) or sneakers(work-out sneakers and Chucks). Hence my aversion to flats, heh. Check more shoe son sale here.
