My New Polka-Dot Shoes, Guess What Kind It Is
Ever since I bought my black wrap polka-dot dress in December of last year and then the tan version 2 months later I’ve told myself to buy a t least 1 pair of polka-dot shoes one day. After buying some tops and blouses in polka-dot prints, I was more convinced to really find one in shoes. Well that day was today. And you would never have guessed what kind of polka-dot shoes it is. It’s not a 3 1/2 inches heels that you’ve all known me to be all gaga about. Nor is it a pair of wedges. Not even a pair of kitten heels. Definitely not a low-top sneakers either. Eww, that would just be ugly. So what heck is it? Take a looksie……..

WHAT THE??? Didn’t I just tell you guys my aversion to flats? They’re cute and all but I like height in my shoes even though I’m relatively tall for a Filipina(5′7). But, I was wandering around the shoe aisle at Wal-Mart when I spotted this lone pair of blue polka-dots ribbon tie flats. It was in size 8 and was the only one on the shelf so I decided to try it on and I surprisingly liked it. Then I saw the $7 tag and I knew right there and then that I have to take it home. So now I have my blue color(which I’ve been looking for as well), polka-dot shoes, in flats no less.

I couldn’t wait to take pictures of it as soon as we got home. On the drive home my mind was already coming up with possible ensembles. Jeans, definitely. A white eyelet dress, most probably. I might actually wear it with my white skirt for Church tomorrow.

GAH! Who would’ve thought I’d be raving over flats? blame it on Star and Sasha. They’ve both been hypnotizing me for weeks. I can’t deny it though. My new blue with ribbon-tie polka-dot print flats has awakened something in me. Bless my ever-so-patient husband’s heart, ;) .

cute shoes! maybe when payless is having another bogo sale, you might consider trying out more flats to add to your shoe collection. i hate sneakers also, so i mostly wear flats during the fall, maybe even winter time (i live down here in tx) i suggest getting a pair of flats in black because those go awesome with denim jeans. :)

I’ve been looking for the perfect pair of flats to wear around the house when I choose to wear a skirt/dress. These would work perfectly and you just have to love polka dots.
